Obviously this journal (and my fanfic writing in general) has been subject to merciless neglect as of late, but the dusty vaults of my documents folders are actually not totally empty. I haven't had the time or inspiration to write anything new since like, summer of last year, but I'm starting to feel a bit lonely for this journal. And I've been gone so long that I've literally forgotten how to do html on this site. I'm not even kidding.
Anyway, since I might never sit down long enough to put together the fourth part of Christmas in Albuquerque (although it is pretty much written in fragments, I've still yet to put them together in an understandable order), I thought I would post two "flashbacks" from it just so they can see the light of day, and maybe someone will be mildly amused/distracted by them for three seconds. That's why these are both written in present-tense and boring. Still, it feels good to post something, even if LJ feels obligated to remove all my italics.
Ugh, I haven't even made an icon in forever. I'm hangin' by a hair.
Stories behind the cut. Can't even think of any warnings for them at this moment. Also apologies for any glaring errors; I only did my editing like an hour ago and I almost always miss things, even in re-reads.
